One of the highlights of the first quarter of 2026 at Charis Missionary Church was the Purposeful Girls Pyjama Party, a life-changing event designed to uplift, strengthen, and equip young girls spiritually and personally.
The event was filled with teachings focused on empowering young women to become leaders in their communities and walk confidently in their faith. The sessions covered essential topics including:
Education: Your Key to Success: Young women were taught that education opens doors to opportunities and empowers them to change their situations at home and in their communities.
Nurturing Your Relationship with Jesus: A close walk with Christ shapes choices, builds identity, and gives strength to navigate life's challenges.
Living for God Everywhere: Whether at school, home, work, or among friends, attendees were encouraged to represent Jesus boldly and consistently.
A Lifestyle of Holiness: The importance of choosing purity in thoughts, actions, and conduct was emphasized.
Loving Yourself: Young women were reminded of their worth and beauty in God's eyes, learning to embrace their identity as daughters of the King.
Cleanliness: Maintaining order and self-respect through cleanliness was presented as a reflection of inner discipline and respect.
Loving Others: Kindness, compassion, and encouragement were highlighted as essential expressions of faith.
The event reflects the church's commitment to empowering the next generation of young women to become community leaders, entrepreneurs, and agents of positive change. The teachings at the Purposeful Girls Pyjama Party were designed to equip young women with practical tools for success and spiritual guidance for their daily lives.
